OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH
WE BELIEVE:
1. That the Holy Scriptures are the Word of God inspired and that they are the supreme authority for faith and conduct. (2Peter 1:20- 21; 2Timothy 3:16)
2. In God, that exists eternally in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.(1John 5:7; 1 Corinthians 8:6; John 1:1-14; Matthew 28:19)
3. That Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, that He is truly God and truly man and that He is the eternal father; That there is no other name given to men under heaven whereby we must be saved; and that as Christians we must make this truth known. (Matthew 1:20; Luke 1:30-33; Acts 4:12; 22:15; Matthew 28:19; 1Tim. 3:16; Jn. 10:30; Is. 9:6; Luke 2:11; Rev. 1:8)
4. In the physical resurrection of the just and unjust; the just to eternal life and the unjust to eternal punishment. (Luke 16:34; Daniel 12:2; Revelations 20:1-15)
5. In the Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ in the clouds to catch us away (rapture). Those that are prepared for His coming. (Acts 1:9-11; 1Thessalonians 4:13-18)
6. That all believers are commanded to be filled with the Holy Spirit and that the initial evidence is the same that the believers received on the day of Pentecost and throughout the book of Acts. We believe that this experience should only be the beginning to a life full of increase in power to serve and witness. (Acts 1:8; 2:4; 19:6; Matthew 3:11; 1Corithians 14:21; Isaiah 61:1; Luke 4:18)
7. In personal Holiness, that without it we will not see God. (Hebrews 12:14; 1Thessalonians 3:1-13; 4:7)
8. That God still does miracles through the preaching of he Gospel with signs and wonders for a testimony to the nations. (James 5:13-15; Mark 16:17-20; Acts 28:3-6)
9. In the prosperity and health of all believers as written in 3rd John 2, and that it is to meet the needs of the believers and His work. (Deut. 8:18; 2Corinthians 9:8; Luke 6:38)
10. In the Five Fold Ministry, first Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, Teacher as in Ephesians 4:11-16 and that they are necessary to establish His church in Gods order, to perfect (mature) the saints for the work of the ministry; because without them there will be no unity in the Body of Christ. (Acts 2:42; Ephesians 4:11-16)
11. That every true believer’s faith will express itself in service of love toward God and his neighbor. (Matthew 22:32-39; John 15:12; Galatians 5:13-14)
12. That all believers have a responsibility to take the Gospel to every creature. (Matthew 28:19-20)
That every person that has believed the gospel and has received Jesus Christ as their Only Lord and Savior must be baptized in deep waters as a sign of obedience. (Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38
